2Face Idibia, one of the nigerian musical legends in the Nigeria entertainment industry has announced the cancellation of the scheduled Protest. this announcement came barely  less than 48 hours to the day of the protest.

in case you don't know, the musical maestro had earlier  announced  that he will lead protest on the 6th of February 2017. and according to him the protest was meant to demand for a better nigeria with no hidden agenda. this announcement received a lot of criticism with some school of thought believing that Tu face is being sponsored by PDP to lead the protest against APC lead Federal govt, in fact, it was alleged that former Akwa Ibom gov, Senator Godswill Akpabio that donated car gift to the musician during his wedding is the brain behind the earlier scheduled protest.
  Among those whom where unequivocal in their Criticism of the cancelled protest is the afro beat Legend, Femi Kuti, son of late afrobeat veteran Fela Anikulapo Kuti, and in his words he posit that he was not consulted before Tuface went ahead to tag him with the protest.
Nevertheless, according  to 2face himself  in  the above video he said  the protest  had being hijacked by dis-grunted elements, thus the need to cancel it.
